Joint ATTA/ForestWorks/FIAPS Workshop

The Australian Timber Trainers Association (ATTA), ForestWorks and Forest Industry Assessment Plan System (FIAPS) members will hold a combined annual workshop at the Southgate Motel, Mt Gambier, 27-30 July 2009

This national workshop will bring together trainers and assessors, managers of RTOs, State Training Authorities (STAs), relevant associations and enterprises. Many of the activities will focus on skills development techniques and approaches to meet workforce development needs for the industry. There will also be a site tour on Wednesday afternoon to watch a heat testing demonstration on harvesting machinery and another tour on Thursday morning to look at a nearby plantation forest.

The four day program is designed to inform, inspire and provide important networking opportunities for people training and educating within the forest, wood, paper and timber products industry.
