SustainABILITY – Skills – develop your future!

Manufacturing Skills Australia (MSA) are hosting their 4th annual conference SustainABILITY – Skills – develop your future! on Thursday 3rd September, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Adelaide (Regency Ballroom), North Terrace, Adelaide.

The theme for this year’s conference is SustainABILITY – Skills – develop your future!

The focus will be on how to sustain a manufacturing industry in Australia, how the manufacturing industry can support environmental sustainability as well as ‘green’ skills. It is expected that close to 200 national delegates will attend the 2009 conference, including enterprise decision makers, key stakeholders of the manufacturing industry associations, unions and training providers.

MSA will be showcasing companies that are participating in workforce development. Keynote speakers in the program will include:

  • senior industry figures
  • key Government speakers
  • high profile innovative companies
  • training organisations.

The three main themes for the conference are: SustainABILITY, Workforce Development and Opportunities – arising from Global Financial Crisis.

Speakers will share their knowledge and experiences about the latest technology development and innovation in Manufacturing; case studies on their experiences in workforce development; recognising and building skills and growing the green collar economy.
