Industry training takes the form of Training Packages, which teach you the skills needed to perform a particular kind of job.
In this industry, there are two Training Packages:
Forest and Forest Products Industry Training Package (FPI05)
Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Training Package (FPP01)
Between them they cover the seven sectors of the industry.
There are four ‘pathways’ to developing skills in this industry. Your career may involve just one method or as many as all four. The pathways are:
