Annual Reports

ForestWorks is committed to advocate for and to work with all of the sectors of the forest, wood, paper and timber products industry, representing industry and providing expert services to industry and related areas of government in skills development and training.

ForestWorks has launched its' 2008-2009 Annual Report. In the report, we outline the many challenges that have faced learning and skill development in the forest, wood, paper and timber products industry over the past year.

The report looks at the achievements, challenges and the way forward for our industry. Some of our achievements include:

  • a highly successful Asia Pacific Climate Change conference
  • projects such as Moving Women into Forestry, Asia Pacific Forestry Skills and Capacity Building and continued work on the Skills Enhancement and Training (SET) project
  • Pulp and Paper Training Package review
  • various submissions and responses we have made on behalf of industry.
