Assessment System (FIAPS)

The Forest Industry Assessment Plan System (FIAPS) is a unique service initiated and maintained by ForestWorks, available by annual subscription to all registered training providers (RTOs) and enterprises who use the FPI05 Forest and Forest Products Industry Training Package.

.

By subscribing to FIAPS, your organisation will become part of a national network of providers and enterprises committed to upholding the highest standards of skills development for our industry, through the development and promotion of reliable and consistent training and assessment outcomes to agreed industry standards.
FIAPS membership gives you access to:

  • a national support network of forest industry trainers and assessors
  • comprehensive assessment materials for all units of competency in FPI05, provided in Word format for easy customisation
  • active input into the continuous improvement of the assessment tools
  • moderation workshops for assessors conducted on request in regional locations
  • an annual national conference
  • participation in committees to review the Training Package and to help develop support resources

For more information about FIAPs, please contact Lorraine Smith (Training Package Specialist) at lsmith@forestworks.com.au
