Industry Support Officer

The Industry Support Officer role is pivotal to the operations of ForestWorks Office, providing office and organisational assistance and support to the new NWDF Innovations, Skills and Solutions Project, operating nationally.  

This position carries out a wide range of tasks including the logistical arrangements for meetings, both internal and external and organisational events and conferences, assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and submissions for government; and assistance with social media and digital technologies.

The role is also exposed to the full range of organisational support functions, including assisting team members with all administrative functions that enable an office to operate effectively. The incumbent should have a well-developed ability to work independently (under general direction), plan activities and workflows, set up priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.  

Employment conditions include 12% superannuation and 5 weeks annual leave.

Training Package Projects Manager
  • Project management role for a national organisation
  • Key stakeholder engagement
  • Attractive remuneration package, which includes 12 % super and 5 weeks annual leave
ForestWorks is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated professional who has demonstrated ability to successfully manage a high and constant workload. They will have been successful in doing this while maintaining effective internal and external relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders with varying needs and priorities. Reporting to the ISC Contract Manager, this role will focus on ensuring that ForestWorks’ projects are both timely and deliver strategic outcomes for key industry and government stakeholders.

The successful applicant will need to:
  • Manage projects and processes within the Training Package Standards and Policies
  • Effectively engage Training Providers and support them to provide training to industry
  • Work closely with Training Package Specialists and other ForestWorks staff to ensure projects achieve deliverables and comply with policies.

ForestWorks undertakes a number of activities in support of industry achieving a skilled workforce. These projects are managed by ForestWorks and, at times, with consultants or contractors.

If you are interested in providing a capacity statement from your organisation to be considered when and if work in the following areas occurs, please provide:

  • A business capacity statement addressing your expertise in the relevant field
  • Your experience with this industry
  • Your consultation approaches that you have applied in other projects
  • Your specialist staff qualifications relating to the specific area.
